I suspect he would support a tax deduction for human health insurance as well. Not that would help America though.

It has been a long long time since anything coming out of Washington has surprised me…Michigan pet owners must have one hell of a lobby.
Typical of an out of touch politician. Although I would love to get a deduction for my 100 lb Malamute who is not cheap to feed and I spend a lot for vet bills for check ups, shots, etc.
No, he’s not crazy. He’s one of the few Republicans who has any common sense.
This just shows how screwed up things are in our government. Senile old geysers that are out of touch with the reality that Americans live with daily.
