stupid?

i asked a question about my puppy and the majority of you were nice and helpful but there is always those few who act like im completely retarded or that i dont know how to take care of my pets. i have noticed people act like that a lot when a question about a pets health is asked. i put in the first line of my question that i was taking my puppy to the vet because if i didnt i know i would get answers like “what are you doing on yahoo answers? take your dog to the vet” but even after saying im taking my dog to the vet people still feel the need to tell me to take my dog to the vet. but they add immediatley to it. like i called my vet and told her “yeah i need to make an appointment for my puppy, can you give me the furthest opening from today?” im a grown women and i have had pets my whole life. i know how to take care of them.

so my original question is why everytime anyone asks a question about there pets heath do people act like we are stupid?
sorry for being so cranky and thanks to all of you who gave helpful answers. im just a cranky pregnant person
