I have a 5 year old Mini-Rex rabbit. Unfortunately, there are not enough Vets who specialize in rabbit care. While I have always been told if a rabbit is eating and sleeping and seems upbeat and playful, his health is fine, not to worry.
I have followed all the rules – in diet (Timothy hay, pellets, etc.), cage cleaning, exercise, grooming, environmental conditions, etc. for my pet rabbit. But he has had chronic diahhrea for several weeks.
He is not under stress (which I know also causes this) and the Vet specialists I have taken him too, don’t do anything other than offer antibiotic prescriptions which are not working.
Any legit advice here is appreciated. Thank you.
